Leave to the micks to try and convince the world that perpetual motion device can work. Steorn, an Irish Intellectual Property development company claims that they have been working on a free energy machine, which will provide clean energy constantly, provided mechanical failure does not occur. They have posted a picture of a Villard de Honnecourt-style "overbalanced wheel" on their homepage, which has been proven time and time again to be a wheel of misfortune for free energy dreamers. 'The Orbo', the aforementioned machine is supposed to be unveiled today at the Kenetica Museum in London, but a quick search only brings up an article in The Inquirer. Highly reputable. The 'scientists' dabbling with the machine have yet to be named, there are no prototypes to see, and an online gallery of similar machines that will never work, staring you in the face.Next up, a machine that converts farts into chamber music with a lilac scent.
thanks to wired for the heads-up and a good laugh.
